Harlem Grown Summer Partnership

For 10 weeks, Greenhouse Arts Center partnered with Harlem Grown to provide a consistent dance experience for Harlem youth. Each week, students visited our studio for three dance classes, creating a welcoming space for movement, creativity, connection, and self-expression.

Throughout the 10-week partnership, students built confidence, learned new movement skills, and developed a sense of community through dance. Their energy, laughter, and excitement made each class incredibly special—and honestly, they quickly became the highlight of our day!

We concluded the partnership with a student showcase, giving the children an opportunity to share what they had learned, celebrate their growth, and perform for their community.

We are grateful to Harlem Grown for partnering with us and for helping create meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and shine through the arts.
