Director of Finance and Human Resources

Asha Brown, born in New York City and raised in Florida, developed her dance foundation at the Orlando School of Cultural Dance, training in West African, hip-hop, modern, and belly dance. She performed with OSCD throughout Orlando before making New York City her home 12 years ago. Asha holds a degree in Music Education with an emphasis in Classical Voice from the University of Miami. With a background in business operations and people management spanning retail and hospitality, she brings both creative and administrative expertise to her role as Director of Human Resources and Finance at Greenhouse Arts Center, where she has been part of the team for over 10 years.

Beyond her work at Greenhouse, Asha is a professional singer, actress, dancer, and vocal coach, pursuing opportunities across theater, television, and film. She performs professionally with bands throughout NYC and alongside her husband in their musical duo, Lord & Lady Productions. She is also a colorful style expert, beauty enthusiast, and social media creator and influencer. Across her creative and professional pursuits, Asha is passionate about the power of the arts to foster connection, inspire self-expression, and build inclusive communities.
